Since my early days I have always been drawn to tattooing and especially traditional tattoos or American oldschool as it’s often called. Growing up in Canada I had close exposure to military and naval bases, the frist time I saw a traditional tattoo was on a officer and I knew right away I was getting a tattoo! The bright and bold sticker style tattoo worn with so much pride and a story behind it is what I was so drawn to and is what I continue to try and bring forward in the art I create.  

Tattooing in Copenhagen since 2020 I’ve gathered a lot of inspiration from the old sailor days of CPH to the badass tattooed King of Denmark Frederik the 9th. My traditional style has been heavily influenced by artists from all over the world and I constantly study and elevate my art while paying homage to these legends and inspirational artists. Paul Dobleman, Lucas Ford, Henning Jørgensen, Jesper Starrider, Lyle Tuttle and Bert Grimm just to name a few, are artists I have gathered information, inspiration and passion from. I think it’s a really important part for me to be able to acknowledge those who came before me and to be able to respect the traditional style in that way. 

Working at Kaiju Tattoo Club I’ve learnt so much about tattooing and painting. Not only this but now having a close relationship with coworkers in a collective kind of way who have now become like family to me. We all pride the shop on being able to include everyone and let anyone feel welcomed and safe in our studio. When you get tattooed by me it’s not only the tattoo your getting but an experience.
